PROGRAMS

Grades K4-K5:  Our program takes an aggressive approach to the teaching of reading using a proven phonetic program designed to teach a child the sounds a letter has, then how to blend these sounds into words.  This program allows a child to tackle even the hardest of words rather than the traditional memorization of lists of words.  This enables our students to read much sooner with 4-year-old's reading by the end of the year.

Grades 1-5:  Our elementary program continues to emphasize and reinforce the phonetic principles learned earlier.  It also places an emphasis on study skills, including note cards, term papers, oral and written reports, as well as a challenging, well-rounded basic core of work including Math, History, Language, Science, Literature and Computers.

Grades 6-8:  The Middle School program at Cornerstone is designed to challenge and develop the study skills of the student.  Students are taught to think and make decisions with the realization that they are accountable for their actions.

High School:  Our High School program is designed to prepare young men and women to serve God fully in whatever calling He has for their lives.  We strive to academically train our students and inspire them to be life-long learners who love to think and solve problems.
